HERITAGE, TOURISM AND SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT POLICIES 2022/2023
The course aims to address the main ethical, economic, and institutional issues in the field of cultural heritage so as to understand how the latter influence and shape related regulations and policies. Contemporary communities face challenges that are increasingly influenced by globalization, and the cultural sector is no exception.
Investigating the interrelation between diverse actors (public and private) operating at different levels (local, national, supranational, and global) and facing conflicting values (economic, cultural, legal) will help to understand what challenges both cultural professionals and policymakers are going to face in the future.
