Giovanna Devetag is Associate Professor in the Department of Business and Management at LUISS Guido Carli. Her research activity focuses on the use of laboratory experiments to study problems of consumer behavior, organizational coordination and organizational design. A strictly related research area involves studying the cognitive processes underlying phenomena of coordination when these involve the sharing of meanings, focal points, mental representations. She has been Visiting Research Scholar at the Department of Psychology at Princeton University in 1997, and Research Fellow at the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America at Columbia University in 2004. She has presented her works in several national and international conferences, and has authored and co-authored scientific articles in journals such as Games and Economic Behavior, Experimental Economics, Journal of Economic Psychology, Economics Letters, Journal of Evolutionary Economics, Industrial and Corporate Change, Revue D’économie Industrielle. She has served as referee for American Economic Review, Experimental Economics, Industrial and Corporate Change, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of Evolutionary Economics, Management Science, Theory and Decision, and for the National Science Foundation (USA) and the Israel Science Foundation.
