Luca Tricarico is researcher at the Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth - National Research Council of Italy (IRCrES - CNR), Rome Unit.

Background as urban and regional policy expert with longly established experience in social innovation strategies, applied research and research-based strategic/advocacy consultancy on the following main issues: (local) economic development; innovation ecosystems and multi-stakeholder organizations; social impact of emergent technologies. in 2018 he obtained a doctorate in Urban Planning, Design and Policy at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies of the Milan Polytechnic, a European title obtained with a year as Visiting PhD Fellow at the Department of Geography and Environment of the London School of Economics and Political sciences. Before becoming a researcher at the CNR, he was a post-doc fellow at the Management department of Luiss Guido Carli. He has been adjunct professor of Development Economics at Sapienza University and he is currently adjunct professor of Economics of Strategy at Luiss Business School.
